Yehoshua is a recognized digital analytics expert who has helped dozens of businesses make the most out of Google Analytics. A master of both implementation and analysis, Yehoshua enjoys taking deep dives into GA data to reveal actionable insights. Very few people know GA as well as he does.
Yehoshua brings to the table a unique mix of advanced technical acumen, deep understanding of business requirements, project management capabilities, and a very amiable personality. If he doesn’t make you laugh at all during the entire workshop, you’ll get a 5 Euro gift certificate to your favorite toy store.
Yehoshua is a highly sought after speaker who has presented at digital analytics and online marketing conferences throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle East including Superweek, Emetrics, Digital Elite Camp, Emerce, SMX, CXL Live, Untagged, and inOrbit.
You want to feel more confident about using Google Analytics to answer business questions.
You feel comfortable in the Google Analytics interface, but want to become a power user.
You want to learn how to discover visitor intent on your website.
You want to learn tips for ensuring long term data quality.
You want to learn performance marketing tips from an internationally respected expert.
You don’t have anything better to do on a Thursday. And Yehoshua is awesome.
This workshop is designed to teach you how to use Google Analytics to the best of its capabilities. The morning will consist of strategic prerequisites for using the tool well, and segue into how to properly customize your setup across the entire Google Stack and ensuring pristine data quality (not just making sure things are broken, but focusing on business data you can use.) We’ll also cover maintenance issues, outlining practices that will sustain long term data health.
The afternoon will be a deep dive into data scope, custom segmentation, and reporting. Segmentation is the key to gaining valuable insights for your data and creating audiences for the Display Network and RLSA bid modifiers, and we’ll learn how hit level segmentation can be used to uncover user intent. The day will end with a focus on how to answer business questions with Google Analytics; with a priority given to “real life” business questions submitted in advance by participants of the workshop.
This workshop is geared towards intermediate and (people who think they are) “advanced” users of Google Analytics. You should be familiar with Standard Reports and understand concepts such as last non-direct click attribution. GA should be a part of your weekly (if not daily) workflow.
If you are doing statistical modelling of digital analytics data using R, or are a wizard with Tableau, you may not find this workshop challenging. Though you will probably enjoy being in the classroom with Yehoshua and may want to join anyway just to get a chance to hang out with the Ninja.
