After years of trying, we've finally made it happen – De Staat are coming to perform at Marketing Festival! This Dutch five-piece usually sells out venues all across the globe and now, they're going to perform one special gig before start of their tour – for you. Get ready for an experience worthy of a true music festival!
There's literally no need to introduce this band to a Czech audience. However, if you've never heard of them, expect a truly unusual performance. During their concerts, MIDI LIDI explore the boundaries of both pop and good manners and most of all, never stop being gloriously entertaining.
Before he started his set at 2015's Festival, things were a bit awkward. The audience was watching David Doubek – a respected professor at Charles University – unfurl his collection of synthesizers with noticeable confusion. “What the hell's going to happen now?” By the end, everybody was dancing like a maniac. His latest record Vitajte was a major success and we're very glad we can welcome Ventolin again – this time on the main stage of the Roxy club!
Once these four guys from Brno released their debut album, they quickly became one of the most talked-about groups in the Czech Republic. Their special kind of psychedelic pop found lots of fans even abroad, for instance at the prestigious Sziget Festival, Eurosonic 2017 or a their own successful UK tour. Brace yourselves for an energizing live act!
